The Walking the Seasons program is delivered collaboratively by the Limestone Coast Landscape Board and Burrandies Aboriginal Corporation.

First Nations Elders lead an immersive on Country experience to give students a deeper understanding of First Nations culture. The walk is supported by the Limestone Coast Landscape Board Education team assisting students to make observations across the landscape of seasonal changes.

Landscape Educator Mel Holtz, said, "It is fantastic to see the program grow each year with the Limestone Coast school community supporting the program. The feedback from schools involved with the program has been amazing - students really embrace being out on Country."

"Connecting students with Country and culture provides an authentic learning environment with a local context. Educators are provided with a list of resources that help support curriculum planning, making this a comprehensive program for students in middle and upper years of Primary School." Mel commented.
