Declared weed control
This service controls declared weeds that pose a significant threat to agriculture, the natural environment or public health and safety.
Our Landscape and Field Officers can help with chemical, mechanical or manual control of weeds. They can also support the management of projects that need additional services on behalf of the landholder. These include mapping, community engagement, and revegetation planning and contractor coordination.
Pest animal control
Services and products are available for pest animal control including for foxes, rabbits, feral cats and feral pigs. This includes supply of baits and equipment hire such as rabbit bait layers.
Landscape and Field Officers provide pest animal control services such as coordinating and undertaking baiting control and fumigating dens and burrows on properties.

Collection of products can be organised through our Landscape Officers. Contact your local Landscape Officer to order your baits and arrange collection.
Collection locations are provided below so you can find the depot closest to you. Collection depots are not always open, ensure you call ahead.

When the Limestone Coast Landscape Board’s services are contracted a written quote is provided. Effective 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. All prices include GST.
Pest animal bait supply and biological controls
Minimum charge
Applied to the sale of products only when the actual costs total less than $50.20. For example, when small amounts of 1080 meat baits or poison oats/carrots are mixed totaling less than the minimum charge. | $50.20 |

Bait discounts for coordinated baiting programs
A 20% discount applies to bait sales for coordinated pest control programs. Conditions apply, including minimum charge for bait preparation.
The discount only applies when baits are purchased as part of a group baiting program (minimum 3 neighbouring landholders), including bait distribution days. Please speak to your local Landscape Officer for details and support to organise your program.
