The Sustainable Landscapes Officer (Water Use Efficiency) will be responsible for delivering the LC Landscape Board’s Water Use Efficiency Project.
The Water Use Efficiency Project will investigate the potential for water use efficiency in primary industries across the Lower Limestone Coast region. There will be an emphasis on industry engagement to share knowledge and build resilience. The project will have regard for expected climate change scenarios and impacts of prolonged dry times.
The project will include an application stage where key water use efficiency opportunities are trialled.
The role will be supported by a project steering committee to project manage the project and to provide water use efficiency advice and expertise to the organisation and to engage with landholders and industry stakeholders in relation to water use efficiency.
Location: Limestone Coast Region
