The Limestone Coast Landscape Board invites you to an upcoming Field Day hosted by Mulbarton Compost as part of the Soil Enhancement for Grazing Project, supported by the Australian Government through the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program.
This event offers an excellent opportunity to see firsthand how innovative soil improvement practices can enhance productivity and build climate resilience across our region.
Field Day Details
Date: Thursday, 4 December 2025.
Time: 8:00 am – 10:00 am.
Location: Mulbarton Compost, 414 Giles Road, Padthaway SA 5271.
Catering: BBQ breakfast provided.
Join us to explore how compost, biochar, multi-species plantings, and controlled grazing are being combined in a practical trial to improve soil carbon, nutrient retention, water-holding capacity, and overall soil health.
