The Limestone Coast Landscape Board invites you to attend our Feed and Figures - exploring the economics of production on sandy soils workshop.
This is a focused workshop with keynote speaker Cam Nicholson that will explore the financial viability of establishing pasture on sandy soils and will cover:
- A clear understanding of the costs.
- Insights into how extra feed converts into animal production and improved stocking rates.
- Practical tools to analyse the economic impact for your business.
- Guidance on calculating payback periods and return on investment.
The workshop is being facilitated by Sunlight Soil Strategists, Dr Mel Fraser and Felicity Turner.

This workshop is part of the Improving landscape health of sandy soils prone to erosion and declining fertility project, funded by the Landscape Priorities Fund and the SA Drought Hub. This project is delivered by the Limestone Coast Landscape Board in partnership with Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board, Coorong and Tatiara Local Action Plan, and the SA Drought Hub.
