The Limestone Coast Landscape Board invites you to attend our Feed and Figures - exploring the economics of production on sandy soils workshop.

This is a focused workshop with keynote speaker Cam Nicholson that will explore the financial viability of establishing pasture on sandy soils and will cover:

  • A clear understanding of the costs.
  • Insights into how extra feed converts into animal production and improved stocking rates.
  • Practical tools to analyse the economic impact for your business.
  • Guidance on calculating payback periods and return on investment.

The workshop is being facilitated by Sunlight Soil Strategists, Dr Mel Fraser and Felicity Turner.

If you have any questions about these workshops, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Team Leader of Sustainable Primary Production by email Ehsan.Sayad@sa.gov.au.

Let us know if you have any special dietary requirements by emailing James by email James.Beck2@sa.gov.au.

This workshop is part of the Improving landscape health of sandy soils prone to erosion and declining fertility project, funded by the Landscape Priorities Fund and the SA Drought Hub.
