Join the Limestone Coast Landscape Board's Youth Environment Council

Students in years 7 to 10 with a passion for the environment and caring for the landscape can join the Limestone Coast Landscape Board’s Youth Environment Council.

Program details

Come and join a group of like-minded young people who are keen to make a positive difference to our landscape. It’s free to join!

As a Limestone Coast Youth Environment Council member, you will explore, experience and learn about our environment and local landscape. You will be inspired and empowered to make decisions that contribute to conserving and caring for our landscape.

Driven by students and their interests the Council looks at local environmental issues in the region. With support from the Limestone Coast Landscape Board Education Team you will participate in experiences that build your leadership, community connections, knowledge and skills. You will also work alongside experts in a variety of fields.

Activities, including excursions, are during school holidays with the occasional after school meeting.

The Landscape Education Team will provide transport where possible to events and activities.
