Young people aged 15 to 18 will explore environmental leadership opportunities. Networking with local environmental groups in the region and planning events to support our local landscape.

Build connections with students and industry professionals who share your commitment to environmental conservation. Grow your environmental skills, gain valuable experience, and contribute to protecting our natural landscapes. It’s free to join!

As a member of the Conservation Crew of the Limestone Coast, you'll have the opportunity to learn from environmental experts and industry leaders who are shaping the future of conservation in our region. Through immersive experiences, practical activities, and meaningful connections, you'll deepen your understanding of the local landscape while contributing to on-ground environmental action.

Members are also empowered to design and deliver projects and events that reflect their interests and passions. Whether you're considering a future career in the environmental sector or simply want to play an active role in caring for your local environment, the Conservation Crew provides a unique opportunity for motivated young people in the region to make a real positive impact.

Activities, including excursions, are during school holidays with the occasional after school meeting.

The Landscape Education Team will provide transport where possible to events and activities.

Whether you have previously been a part of the YELP or LCYEC programs or have recently discovered your love for the outdoors anyone is welcome to apply.

Maya Boyington

I am an enthusiastic environmental leader, a proud member of the CCLC. I joined because I love our beautiful Limestone Coast and am passionate about protecting our incredible landscape with all it’s wonderful fascinating wildlife.

Taine Wright

I’m currently studying electrotechnology in high school and have a passion for the renewable energy sector in the Limestone Coast. I love meeting members of the community who also care about the environment and am excited about how together we can help care for it.

Brogan Wright

I’m a passionate member of the CCLC and aim to educate other young people in my community about the Limestone Coasts fragile environment. I’m passionate about the field of geology and would love to continue studies in this field after school.

Dylan Flint

G’day I’m passionate about the misunderstood critters in our natural environment. I joined to meet like-minded people and share my knowledge on the environment along with learning how to protect it.
