The Limestone Coast Landscape Board is partnering with LawrieCo to deliver six * FREE * workshops across the Limestone Coast designed to be practical and regionally relevant, with an opportunity to ask questions and discuss individual circumstances.

These workshops will cover:

· how soil carbon projects work under the Clean Energy Regulator framework.

· what determines eligibility for broadacre cropping and grazing enterprises.

· soil testing and measurement requirements.

· realistic expectations around carbon building potential.

· practical considerations before getting involved.

Dinner is provided at 7 pm.

Complimentary Report option

Through funding provided by Climate-smart Landscapes Grants, each attending farming business is eligible to receive a complimentary Soil Carbon Eligibility Report for their property valued at $2,500. The report undertakes:

· an initial soil and microbial testing

· a review of current farm practices

· an indicative assessment of carbon building potential

· suggested next steps.

This report is entirely diagnostic and carries no commercial obligation. It is designed to give you the objective data you need to decide if carbon farming fits your business.

The Soil Carbon Readiness Program is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program and delivered for the Limestone Coast Landscape Board, a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery Partners panel, and by LawrieCo PtyLtd.
